Community & Relaxation: Building Community in Brickell

The Ivy

The event is designed to bring together residents from Brickell and the surrounding areas, encouraging community interaction and connection. We’ve curated an engaging afternoon with a variety of activities focused on wellness and relationship building, starting with:

  • Coffee Bar: Begin the day from 12:00-12:45 PM in the Test Kitchen, where a professional barista will serve freshly brewed coffee and specialty drinks to energize everyone.
  • Yoga Session: Starting at 12:30 pm, join Sweat Move Yoga Tiffany Zakka for a rejuvenating yoga session. Both the yoga and breathwork sessions will take place outdoors on turf, with mats provided, allowing you to enjoy the sun while practicing.
  • Gastronomy Acai Bowl Station: Head to the Test Kitchen for our acai bowl station, where you can craft your delicious creation. This refreshing superfood, sourced directly from Brazil, is packed with antioxidants and nutrients, making it a healthy and flavorful treat. Compete for the most inventive bowl design, with the winner receiving a special prize.
  • Breathwork and Relaxation: End the afternoon with a world-renowned breathing expert who will guide you through relaxation techniques. These methods will help you tap into your inner calm and take-home skills to incorporate into your daily routine.

The event will also feature a team challenge, where participants will pair up to complete an engaging activity. The winning team will be rewarded with luxurious massages in private spa rooms, redeemable immediately after the event, allowing them to unwind in style. This challenge is designed to foster team building and strengthen relationships within the community. We hope you’ll join us for this exciting opportunity to connect with neighbors, support a great cause, and enjoy an afternoon of wellness, teamwork, and community building.

About the Miami Chapter

Across cities and towns just like yours nationwide, we serve our communities by starting with bringing different neighbors together for events centered around Service, Social Gatherings, and Civics.

By rolling up our sleeves side-by-side, we can begin to see that we have more in common than what divides us; that first and foremost we are fellow Americans with a common love for our families and communities.

These Chapters – also known as our Brickyards – are mobile places for neighbors to connect and solve local problems. We do this through respectful and open conversations, and to find higher ground as we work together brick-by-brick.

The Miami Brickyard is led by Janett Cordovés.
