Faith and Conversation Dinner Series

Ozaukee Nonprofit Center

Late 2024, faith leaders and lay leaders shared a meal together while also sharing their stories and building relationships. This conversation series hosted by +MPU is focused on supporting faith leaders in our communities to renew relationship and trust across denominations. This is especially important in today’s world which is seeing an increase in distrust, fear and disconnection across cultures. Historically this leads to overemphasis on differences and persecution of people perceived to be different. As persons of faith, our beliefs call us towards values such as mercy, hope, humility and service.

Within the Faith and Conversation series, this dinner event aims to take our conversation further. We aim to courageously continue to build relationship and trust among each other while also exploring opportunities to lead our church members in collaborative service to our shared community.

About the Cedarburg Chapter

Across cities and towns just like yours nationwide, we serve our communities by starting with bringing different neighbors together for events centered around social gatherings, service, and civics.

By rolling up our sleeves side-by-side, we can begin to see that we have more in common than what divides us; that first and foremost we are fellow Americans with a common love for our families and communities.

These Chapters – also known as our Brickyards – are mobile places for neighbors to connect and solve local problems. We do this through respectful and open conversations, and to find higher ground as we work together brick-by-brick.

The Dairyland Brickyard is located in Cedarburg, Wisconsin and led by Naoimi Lundman.
