+MPU DC – Monthly Event @TAKODA Shaw: Civics Conversation (June ’24)

TAKODA Shaw

RSVP

Come join +More Perfect Union at TAKODA Shaw for meaningful conversations (and free food and drink!).

+MPU (www.mpu.us) is a national movement to strengthen our democracy by creating opportunities to connect people who would otherwise never meet. Our country, communities, and lives are more resilient and better when we share ideas and understand other perspectives on important issues.

This is our monthly event (usually every 3rd Thursday of the month) at TAKODA Shaw to focus conversations around subjects like trust in community, hope in democracy, commitment to American institutions, and personal responsibility. If you’re at all concerned at the state of things here at home, then you owe it to yourself to engage, not disengage.

Come join us and be part of the movement for positive change. Register to receive final details via email closer to the event. And invite a friend to register too!

About the Washington Chapter

Washington, D.C. has always been a place of compromise. Born as the beating heart of American democracy, D.C. has long been a symbol of what we can achieve when we come together, and what can go wrong when division takes the place of connectedness in our communities.

The D.C. Brickyard is led by Ben Bain, Jaelin Lespier, and Ryan Smither.
