Alex Ireland is a volunteer Brickyard leader with the Morristown, New Jersey chapter of More Perfect Union.

was born in Western Pennsylvania and deeply influenced by his time in nature as a child. He is a PhD ecologist with wide-ranging experience in academia, industry, and the non-profit sector. Alex is also a U.S. Army Veteran. Currently, he leads a state-wide conservation non-profit that aims to connect all people with nature and steward the nature of today for all people do tomorrow. Alex has two children, ages 7 and 11, and a wife who owns and operates a strategy consulting firm with a sustainability focus. The four of them live with a crazy beagle and a needy border collie in Hunterdon County New Jersey.
