Imarii Poindexter is the Co-Founder and Advisor of the + MPU Atlanta Brickyard.

Imarii has 8 years of Talent Acquisition, Risk Management, liaising, and Community Engagement. She has led culturally diverse cross-functional teams, supported top-level organizational leaders, and forged strong business relationships with leaders in the community. Imarii has participated in special projects to restructure processes within Human Resources to improve social media engagement, Talent Acquisition and internal communication. Currently working with Emory Healthcare Veterans Program she is continuing to serve those who have served as an Outreach Coordinator for Veterans dealing with PTSD and associated conditions. She is devoted to the healing the veteran community naturally taking a holistic view of care through upstream intervention. She is involved in educating veterans and community members on issues veterans face to include raising awareness about mental health and suicide prevention.

Imarii is a 5-year Navy Aviation Veteran and has deployed twice during her time of service. She graduated with a Bachelor of Psychology from Georgia Gwinnett College. In her spare time, Imarii serves as a Joseph and Sarah’s Caring for Vets board member, Emory’s Diversity and Inclusion committee member, Fourblock Mentor, and Humble Warrior Mentor Director.
