Janette Kautzman

Janette Kautzman (Cleveland, OH Brickyard Leader) is deeply dedicated to public service, with a distinguished career that spans both military and civilian sectors. Most recently, she completed a field internship with the City of Cleveland’s Department of Public Health, where she contributed to an effort to strengthen the city’s crisis response system. During her first year in graduate school, she worked as a case manager with the U.S. Committee for Refugees and Immigrants, supporting individuals and families in transition to life in Cleveland. Janette attended the United States Military Academy and went on to serve in the U.S. Army for 24 years, retiring as a Lieutenant Colonel. Today, Janette remains active in the community as a peer supporter with the Veterans Affairs Hospital and the Lewy Body Dementia Association.
