Stacey Chavis is a 2023 MPU Fellow hailing from Atlanta, Georgia. She is now a Leader with the +MPU Atlanta Brickyard.

Stacey Chavis, the Managing Director of Campaigns Academy, operates at the nexus of politics, public policy, and advocacy. With experience spanning all three branches of the federal government, Stacey’s expertise is well-rounded.

Beyond her professional endeavors, Stacey actively contributes to the community. She serves on the Junior Leagues of Georgia State Public Affairs Committee and the University of Georgia Black Alumni Leadership Council. Her previous involvements include positions on the Board of Directors for the United Way of Greater Atlanta, the Oglethorpe University Alumni Board of Directors, and the Junior League of Atlanta Board of Directors. Stacey is also a distinguished Truman National Security Project fellow and a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.

Stacey’s accomplishments have garnered recognition, including being named to the University of Georgia 40 under 40 Class of 2020 and being featured as a Daily Point of Light by Points of Light. Her educational background comprises a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology with a minor in Politics from Oglethorpe University, as well as a Master’s Degree in the Study of Law from the University of Georgia School of Law.
