Denver’s Holiday Giving Tree to Support Refugee Families

Rocky Mountain Sports Club

’tis the Season of Giving.

More Perfect Union’s Colorado Brickyard is partnering with the Broomfield Resettlement Task Force and the Rocky Mountain Sports Club to create a Giving Tree, a way for Coloradans to give to Broomfield refugee families.

Join us this holiday season for delicious food, rich conversation, and a celebration of supporting our community in need. All community members are welcome to join us for this free event at the Rocky Mountain Sports Club on Saturday, December 3, at 3pm.

We’ll be lighting the Christmas tree, outlining gifts that will be given to these families, and joining together to share a conversation about the community.

You’ll have the opportunity to pull a tag from the tree to shop for a community member in need. This is going to be a cheerful and family-friendly event where MPU members and Colorado neighbors can break bread together.

The Broomfield Resettlement Task Force is accepting (unwrapped) gift donations from December 3 – December 15. The organization also accepts monetary donations in lieu of gifts.

About the Front Range Chapter

Across cities and towns just like yours nationwide, we serve our communities by starting with bringing different neighbors together for events centered around Service, Social Gatherings, and Civics.

By rolling up our sleeves side-by-side, we can begin to see that we have more in common than what divides us; that first and foremost we are fellow Americans with a common love for our families and communities.

These Chapters – also known as our Brickyards – are mobile places for neighbors to connect and solve local problems. We do this through respectful and open conversations, and to find higher ground as we work together brick-by-brick.

The Fort Range Brickyard Captain is Randall Nett supported by Brickyard Leaders Ryan Stashak and Michelle Nett.
